Finding your perfect Tallahassee wedding venue is about more than choosing a beautiful location. It’s about finding a place that feels like you and gives you space to slow down and enjoy every moment. It sets the tone for how your day feels and how much space you have to slow down and enjoy all the little moments. As a photographer and videographer team, here are our favorite Tallahassee wedding venues for a day that feels meaningful, relaxed, and true to you!

Find Your Perfect Tallahassee Wedding Venue

The Avera-Clarke House

The Avera-Clarke House is a charming, family-run bed and breakfast in Monticello. If you love historic homes, antique details, and sweet garden moments, this venue is for you! It’s such a good fit for intimate weddings that feel personal and full of character. There’s also a separate cabin for the groomsmen to get ready, which makes the morning feel so much easier. Every detail here is an absolute dream!

The Retreat at Bradley’s Pond

If you’re looking for a relaxed Tallahassee wedding venue with lots of trees and open space, The Retreat at Bradley’s Pond is a lovely choice. It’s perfect for a day that feels easy, Southern, and centered on what matters most. There’s plenty of room for guests to spread out and enjoy the day. Even a rainy day looks magical here!

Mount Pleasant Lodge

Mount Pleasant Lodge is one of those venues that immediately makes the day feel calm and intentional. The newly built chapel is such a stunning spot for your ceremony or intimate first look. Couples love this venue because they can slow down and be completely present in the moment. It’s one of my favorites for a relaxed timeline that’s still full of fun!

Havana Springs

Picture this: your own private wedding retreat where your loved ones can hang out and enjoy the whole weekend with you. Havana Springs has such a cozy, old-Florida feel, and the boutique guest rooms make it the best for a wedding weekend. There’s so much space for the day to unfold naturally, from getting ready to the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.

SouthWind Plantation

SouthWind Plantation in Attapulgus, GA gives you that destination-wedding feel without being too far from home. The lodge setting feels peaceful and tucked away, and the farm-to-table food is such a fun (and delicious) part of the experience. It’s a great choice if you want your wedding to feel like an unrushed weekend with the people you love!

Woodberry

Woodberry in Havana, FL is a historic barn wedding venue with so much character. It has a woodsy ceremony space, an old tobacco barn, and plenty of room for the day to feel relaxed. This venue is perfect if you want something unique, a little rustic, and full of that North Florida charm.

Goodwood Museum & Gardens

Tucked away in the heart of Tallahassee, Goodwood Museum & Gardens is one of my favorites for romantic garden weddings. If you love historic architecture, oak trees, and a setting that feels timeless without being over the top, you’ve got to check it out. It’s especially beautiful for intimate weddings and elopements!

Lewiswood Farm

Lewiswood Farm is a lovely venue for a day that feels warm, personal, and not overly formal. It has that peaceful farm feel while still being close to Tallahassee. Weddings here naturally lead to the sweetest candid moments, whether you’re celebrating outside, inside the barn, or dancing the night away with your people.

Collins Place

Collins Place in Cairo, Georgia is a stunning wedding venue about 45 minutes from Tallahassee. The white barn feels timeless, bright, and full of Southern charm! I love that this venue is all about slowing down and soaking in each moment. Every detail is thoughtfully planned out for the most intentional and joyful wedding weekend.

The Homestead Barn

If you love rustic charm, The Homestead Barn in Monticello is such a sweet spot. It’s perfect for couples who want a laid-back barn wedding that still feels romantic and personal. The way the light filters through the trees has to be one of my favorite parts, especially for outdoor ceremonies.

Loblolly Rise

Last but definitely not least, Loblolly Rise is a great option for couples looking just outside Tallahassee for a little more space. It’s located near Thomasville and has beautiful ceremony spots beneath the pine trees, plus getting-ready spaces for both sides of the wedding party. I love this venue for couples who want a wedding weekend with plenty of room to soak it all in.

Should You Book Photo and Video for Your Wedding?

While photos let you hold onto the main moments, video lets you relive your vows, speeches, laughter, and all the in-between memories you didn’t even realize were happening. Booking a team who offers both means your photos and film feel connected and not like two separate pieces of the day. As a husband-and-wife duo, we create photographs and films that tell one complete story, exactly as it felt! You can learn more about our wedding videography packages here!
