Here are a few of my favorite beach elopement locations across Florida!

St. George Island State Park

Located on Florida’s Forgotten Coast, St. George Island State Park feels quiet and tucked away with the prettiest sand and turquoise waters. This spot is for couples who appreciate natural beauty and don’t want high-rise hotels in the background! 

Cape San Blas / St. Joseph Peninsula State Park

Another dreamy Forgotten Coast option with white sand and untouched coastal views. This spot is perfect if you want privacy and a more laid-back beach. Cape San Blas has more of a quiet beach-town feel, while St. Joseph Peninsula State Park is even more secluded with high sand dunes and open shorelines. 

Mexico Beach

Mexico Beach is a hidden gem if you want a slower beach elopement without the crowds. It has that simple, Old Florida feel that makes the day feel relaxed, personal, and completely centered around the ocean.

Anna Maria Island

Anna Maria Island is a favorite spot if you want your elopement to feel easy and fun without giving up the beach views. You still get the soft sand and Gulf water, but the island has this slower pace that makes the whole day feel more at ease.

Siesta Key Beach

Siesta Key Beach is a popular option, but for good reason! Its iconic soft white sand and colorful sunsets can’t be beat. There’s plenty to do and see here with great options for places to stay.

Sanibel or Captiva Island

Sanibel and Captiva are perfect if you love the idea of a quieter beach day. These islands feel a little more private, with pretty shorelines, seashells everywhere, and the kind of sunsets that make you want to stay out on the beach as long as possible.

Lovers Key State Park

Lovers Key State Park is such a romantic Florida elopement spot. (And let’s be honest, the name alone would look awesome on your invites.) Located in Fort Myers Beach, it’s a stunning option without going all the way to the Keys. 

Key Largo

Key Largo is a great option if you want your elopement to feel like a little getaway from the second you arrive. It has that classic Florida Keys feel with blue water, boat days, and plenty of places nearby to celebrate after your ceremony.

Timing is everything on the beach! Always plan around sunset for soft, golden light that makes Florida elopements so dreamy. Not only will your photos look gorgeous, but your guests will be more comfortable. 

Keep Your Setup Simple

Let the ocean speak for itself! A simple bouquet, barefoot vows, and the ocean right behind you are more than enough. Plus, larger setups will require more logistics, so if simple is more your vibe, run with it!
