Sally and Brett’s destination wedding in the mountains of Montana was one of the dreamiest days we have been apart of. We are all from North Florida, and when Sally reached out about possibly photographing their intimate wedding in Montana, it was an immediate HECK YES from me. We spent the months leading up to this Montana wedding day planning how to make it intentional and completely them. So excited to share this destination wedding with you all!

A Cozy Morning | Montana Wedding Photography

Sally and Brett wanted a very relaxed, intentional wedding day in Montana. So they invited only their closest family and a few friends and it was so perfect! We started the day off with writing their vows on the porch together and then moving inside to the cozy fireplace to enjoy some coffee. The weather was so gorgeous in Montana. It was a bit windy this day but turned out gorgeous! I would highly recommend this time of year if you’re getting married in September in Montana. The last week of September we noticed a lot of things close down for the season, so around the middle of September is perfect. They rented this stunning home in Belt, Montana and we enjoyed the entire day here! This house is specifically called “Sunset Ranch” if you’re looking for it.

The Details | Mountain Destination Wedding

We had a very loose timeline as we just arrived in the morning and honestly went with the flow as the day went on! We had a specific time set for the ceremony, but it was so relaxed and nice to just read the room and take candids as things were happening. Sally has the most beautiful style and taste and her details on her wedding dress were so stunning! She has a gorgeous dress and added a custom lace veil and sleeves created by Harriet Falvey, check her out here! They were so beautiful and really pulled her wedding look together to be totally HER.

The First Look | Destination Wedding in the Mountains

Sally and Brett did a first look before their ceremony. Since it was so windy, we decided to have their first look on the second floor in front of the chandelier and it was stunning! They had their first look was so sweet and the went and shared their private vows.

For their ceremony, we adventured to the back of the home. There were wooden benches set up and it was so simple and beautiful. Sally’s dad walked her down the aisle and their intimate wedding ceremony was so intentional and sweet.
