Maternity sessions will forever hold a special place in my heart. What better setting to capture these first precious moments of parenthood than the golden landscape of Folly Beach in Charleston?! When Heather and Patrick asked me to be a part of their maternity session, I was so thrilled! Heather is also a photographer, and we met at a styled shoot. We’ve been friends ever since and I’ve been lucky enough to capture all their beautiful milestone moments. This would probably have to be one of my favorite maternity sessions I’ve ever done. Everything about it was totally candid and heartwarming. It was completely picture-perfect and I can’t wait to share these moments with you below!

Sweet Maternity Session Moments

So many people want to skip maternity photos but it’s such an emotional, special time that needs to be documented and deserves to be remembered. These sessions often bring out the most raw moments between the parents. So, having these memorable photos to look back on and treasure are why I will always recommend booking a maternity session! No matter how big, uncomfortable, blah you feel – document this time in your lives. It only comes around so many times and you will want to look back on your pregnancy even if it doesn’t feel like it right now. I’m so excited for Heather and Patrick to start their little family and I’m SO thrilled that I was there to document these moments for them. I can’t wait for them to all be able to look back on these photos for years to come, and see where it all began! I love traveling to Charleston for my clients, especially when it’s at Folly Beach.
