Mashes Sands Beach is such a fun location for a couples session if you live in Wakulla or Tallahassee! It’s a hidden beach off the side of Highway 98 and it’s full of such pretty scenery! I’ve seen weddings, proposals, all the fun photography things happen here and it’s for good reason. Side note, they also just upgraded from porta pottys, so they have nicer bathrooms now if you decide to do an outfit change!

Bethany and Kyle were such a blast to shoot with and we actually have become such great friends with them after this session! They compliment each other so well and were down to do literally anything we thought of for their session. They brought Funky Buddha beers and we had Bethany pour it in Kyle’s mouth and we all died laughing! We explored Mashes Sands Beach and went farther back onto a super cool trail that led to these bare trees and had an island vibe. It felt like we transported to an actual island, not even joking!

If you’re located near Tallahassee or the surrounding areas, it’s such a good location to think about if you’re wanting more of a beach vibe! It’s closer than Alligator Point and you have lots of fun places to go eat at after your session! Our favorite is Tropical Trader, Seinyard, or Posey’s! They’re all super fun to visit and they have the best seafood!
