The Sweetest Fall Knoxville Elopement at Seven Islands State Park

Jenna and Michael’s elopement at Seven Islands State Park was the kind of day that makes me fall in love with photographing Knoxville over and over again. Tucked just outside the city, this peaceful park gave us the perfect blend of quiet charm, golden light, and river views to celebrate their love story in the most meaningful way. It was simple, heartfelt, and SO full of joy — just the way an elopement should be. If you’re planning a Knoxville elopement or dreaming up a small wedding that feels like you, this one might just be the inspiration you’ve been looking for!

Sentimental Touches and Gorgeous Blooms

One of my favorite things about elopements is how deeply personal they are. Jenna and Michael’s Knoxville elopement was the perfect example of that. They walk the trails at Seven Islands almost every day with their sweet pup, so choosing this park as the place to say “I do” made it all the more meaningful. It wasn’t just beautiful, it was uniquely theirs. We wandered through blooming zinnias (seriously, I was obsessed!!) and peaceful riverside paths, soaking in every colorful, joy-filled moment. It felt like the whole park was showing off just for them, and I loved getting to document every bit of it!

Why Seven Islands State Park Is a Hidden Gem for Elopements

If you’ve never been to Seven Islands State Park, it’s such a hidden gem for couples dreaming of a quiet, nature-filled Knoxville elopement. The open fields, winding trails, and peaceful river views make it the kind of place that feels tucked away from the world, all the while still being super close to the city! It’s easy to see why Jenna and Michael chose it for their special day, and honestly? I’d be so excited to photograph more love stories here! Highly recommend it!
