A Heartfelt Wedding in Spring with Colorful Details

Michelle and Tanner’s wedding in spring was everything I love about this season! So joyful, colorful, and full of life. These two are truly the sweetest, and their love story (which began on a spring break trip to Daytona!) made the day feel even more special. Michelle had such a beautiful vision for the wedding, and every detail felt so thoughtful and true to them! We kicked off the day with a relaxed, intentional timeline that had plenty of time for dreamy bridal portraits. Michelle loves photos and we wanted to make sure we weren’t rushed at all! The private vow exchange and first look with her dad were such sweet moments, and everything flowed so effortlessly! It was one of those weddings that reminded me exactly why I adore spring celebrations so much!

A Wedding in Spring That Felt Like Home

One of the most special parts of Michelle and Tanner’s day was how deeply personal it all felt. The wedding took place at Tanner’s parents’ home, which was not only stunning, but made everything feel so meaningful and rooted in family. Tanner’s family even built the ceremony arch themselves, which made their vows under it even more sentimental! The entire celebration had a fun, Kentucky Derby-inspired vibe (minus the hats!) with colorful patterns, playful energy, and creative touches everywhere you looked. Each reception table was named after a horse, and guests were called up to dinner by their table’s name—such a cute and unique idea! And speaking of dinner… the paella? Absolutely INCREDIBLE. Every bite was delicious! As the sun set in the most breathtaking way, the dance floor came alive, and the night wrapped up with so much joy and energy. It was truly unforgettable!
