I couldn’t contain my excitement when Sierra and Jacob reached out to me for their Maclay Gardens FL Wedding! I went to high school with both of them and they are the sweetest people ever!! Their vision for an intimate wedding at the state park was absolutely perfect—just their immediate families and grandparents gathered to celebrate their special day. I LOVED witnessing every moment and we had such a fun time and it was so chill. Despite a little rain towards the end (which, let’s be honest, only added to the magic!), they embraced the moment and ended their wedding at home with their family. I loved every minute of this day with Sierra and Jacob, and seriously can’t wait to share their photos with you below!

Maclay Gardens FL Wedding Venue Details

Maclay Gardens is a Florida State Park in Tallahassee with floral architecture, a picturesque brick walkway, secret garden, reflection pool, walled garden, and hundreds of camellias and azaleas. The gardens were first planted in 1923, and the whole setting is just drop dead gorgeous! It definitely set the scene for Sierra and Jacob’s intimate wedding. The park’s lush gardens and lakeside provided a gorgeous backdrop for their ceremony.

Jacob’s tie and Sierra’s bridal bouquet added a stunning pop of color. Their attention to detail and personal style made their wedding so unique and fun to capture! My favorite part of being a photographer is capturing the raw and real moments between couples, and with Sierra and Jacob, their love for each other was evident in every photo. From the heartfelt moments to the contagious laughter, I had the honor of photographing it all. Overall, Maclay Gardens State Park’s history and natural beauty perfectly complimented the bride and groom and their fun-loving personalities, making it a day to remember!
